Aishiteruze Baby (愛してるぜ ベイベ), also known as "I Love Ya, Baby" is a shoujo romance manga created by Yoko Maki. It has been adapted to a 26 episode anime, produced by TMS Entertainment and Animax. The English version has been published by VIZ media. The series is about a teenage boy, Kippei, who becomes the caretaker of his 5-year-old cousin, Yuzuyu, after her mother abandons her.
Kippei Katakura (片倉 結平) is the flirt of the school. He hangs out with all the girls and always tries to win them over, never thinking about their feelings. One day, however, he gets a rude wake up call when his aunt abandons his 5 year old cousin, Yuzuyu, and he is forced to take care of her for the time being. As he and his cousin both go to school and live their lives, Kippei gets a change of heart and begins to get serious with a particular girl, Kokoro Tokunaga, while becoming a "mother" for Yuzuyu. At the same time, his cousin deals with her own problems like being the only awkward one at school, or so her enemies claim.
