Lelouch Lamperouge is no average 17 year old student in the Ashford Academy. He is actually the son of the Emperor of Britannia, a world super-power set in the fictional future in a struggle for power. The mighty kingdom sets out to capture Japan, prized for its large amount of sakuradite as an energy source. Within a short month, Japan falls and is renamed to Area 11, its citizens now being called "Elevens." When his father failed to prevent his mother's assassination, an attack that also crippled his sister, he vowed to destroy Britannia. Seven years later, after an accidental mix-up with "terrorists," Lelouch meets a mysterious girl called C.C. who gives him the power of Geass. With it, Lelouch sets out to fulfill his two wishes: Revenge, and to make a new world where his sister can live happily in.
