As the title says, I went to Wal-Mart tonight, shopping with my boyfriend, and they had Pocky in the international food isle. I was surprised. Wal-Mart never has anything I want, so you can imagine my surprise.

I was just curious if any of you had discovered it in your Wal-Mart, or what kind of international food items they sell.

I was excited when they had ramen noodle bowls, but I'm still in disbelief about Pocky.

WTF!? Really? OMG, awesome. I have to drive all the way, like 15 blocks or more to buy Pocky at a Japan mini-market. Wal-Mart is only half way down the major street. Hurrah!

No surprise there Jent, The Wal-Mart in downtown Baton Rouge has had Pocky for quite sometime now so I woulda never thought that it would be anything new for ya too Jent.

Regardless some of the Pocky there is rare though cause most of the international foods that are in the isle are European goods, I've never seen so much Bavarian and Swiss chocolate in my life, lol.

In short, I don't see what's the big deal.

Yep, they are selling them as of late in my local Wal-mart. They are a bit "pricey" compare to the other Asian store that I shop at though.

They weren't too bad here. I think they're a dollar a pack. I'm still in disbelief over it. Nebraska in general really has no influences of asian culture. To be honest, I don't know how my favorite sushi restaurant has stayed open. It's just neat to see something that, 5 years ago I would have never imagined I would have even got a chance to try. Let alone buy it in my own town. And Wal-Mart of all places.

Ah, Toronto. And the fact that my grandmother has this really cool ability to find good food, cheap deals, and good snacks.

And they're not even low quality...

//And Wal-Mart of all places.//

I also don't see why that surprises ya, it's supposed to be a store of convenience and a big one at that too, sure it doesn't have everything but enough to satisfy most of the people in the area, I would ask what took your Wal-Mart so long to stock up on such candy as Pocky?

I'm not going to keep mentioning that I live in INCREDIBLY uncultured Nebraska. I didn't know that it was such a common thing.

Sorry. >.>

//ARE YOU BLIND //

I'd appreciate you not being so crude towards me. Don't assume things where I live are the same as where you live. >.>

//ARE YOU BLIND

Wal-Mart has had Pocky for months.
Or at lest in G.a.//

That was quite rude. Not every Wal-Mart is the same across the country y'know.
