I have not done anything against their wishes, they say "All credits reserved to _______" I write "Credits: _______" If these artist have "Original and fanarts are not to be used w/o permission" I don't upload them. If they don't want to be linked I don't link them. I've always gone out of my way to read their "about me" and abide by their rules, and even with permission I still message them with "I really love your art, and I simply would love to show the world your work." It's corny but I do that, and I've actually gotten replies such as "Thank you so much that my art has reached overseas." I don't think they've found it disrespectful or punishing.//

So... What are you trying to say? Sorry but to me your saying one then then saying another.

This is a site rule that's been in place for while (since I've been here and longer) and should have been fallowed from the start. Even if they say they don't need a link you should still link them because its a site rule. OK I get that some artists don't NEED a link but its still nice to link them and should be done its also a rule here. Please see http://www.advancedanime.com/policies.php#8 and should be reinforced on everyone.

You've said it was your fault, "I'll admit I could get the sites, but it's a habit I find hard to break in forgetting so yes it's a fault in my corner."

You can get them, I say you should get them. Its my opinion if you dislike it you don't have to listen to it.

I never said I dislike it, I was just stating points of things, like how it's not a disrespect towards them and how I wouldn't fake a credit. That's all I was stating, I didn't say I disliked it, I've also said I have and will try to get the websites up, I'm sorry if I sounded like I'm instigating an argument, but I honestly was just stating some things.

To me it is disrespectful. Sorry but its the way I see it and we are not talking about the small few here who do ask we are talking about the majority. Along with a rule that has been in place for awhile and you should have read and known about. As for trying to get the site up I never saw where you said that? Sorry please point it out to me ^^; I only saw the comment about you could get them but it was a bad habit etc.

I'm not really arguing here I'm trying to understand and trying to make people aware of a rule that should and needs to be reinforced.

:edit:

Never mind I found where you stated that. My apologizes.

would eliminate this problem and create another one

//"all pictures must be given complete and proper credit: Artist/Studio and URL/Email. Credit is not the site where you found the picture, but the site of who produced it. Please see Blacklist for improper credit."//

It's been a problem since i join this site and it is still a problem up until now, so in my opinion specially for those who always visit the Picture Galleries just report any upload that violate a certain rules!

With the number of submissions a day, do you have ANY idea how long that would take? It's better for the members to just read and follow the rules. If a member sees something improperly credited, or knows the URL of the artist or something, just report the page.

I'll admit, I usually don't add the artist URL. Mainly because I seldom know the actual artist's site. Although I do list it when I know it. :3

The website http://drawr.net is a pixiv sublet, it's pretty much where artists put up sketches/doodles or even their more refine works too for the heck of minor edits they like to display.

But it's pretty much the same as pixiv, maybe even a tad worst since there are many WIPs and concepts of future works on there.
