The air has just a bit of chill to it, there is frost on the ground in the mornings, and the leaves on the trees are changing color. What could be better than having an AA contest to incorporate all of this?
Since we already have the Halloween contest running anything that resembles a costume will not be accepted for this contest. There are plenty of other fall things to build your entries on. Be creative! Think back to when you were a kid and the best fall memories you have.
Start: Oct. 22nd
End: Dec. 1st 2:59:59 pm (PST)
Rules
• Focus of art must be a person (male or female).
• Supporting characters/critters are acceptable
• Remember: all art must be original and done by the member who uploads it. Stealing will NOT be tolerated.
• Fan art is not allowed.
• Please read all other contest policies before submitting.
• CG and non-CG work will be accepted.
• There will be 15 pictures awarded: 1 Best CG, 1 Runner-up Best CG, 1 Best Non-CG, 1 Best Supporting Critter, 1 Best Use of Theme, 10 Honorable Mentions.
• No other prizes will be awarded.
• Please have fun and thank you for participating!

Hmm... I'm starting to see a trend. It involves having one contest open for about two-thirds of the way and then opening a new contest.

You know ElvenAvari, I was out doing deliveries on halloween and more houses had early christmas lights up than halloween displays. I just thought it was relevant to the "already playing christmas carrols" bit.
Now to business, I've just finished the sketch for my entry and will be busy with the CG within the hour.

And yes... it is so annoying... Christmas doesn't start for me until Nov. 26th, though Dec. 1st is better.

Ok, the time in my timezone (GMT +10) is 2:35 pm 1st of December, the competition's timezone (GMT -8) is 8:35 pm 30th of November. SO according to my calculations the deadline in my timezone is 8:59:59 AM 2nd of December. Is that right? Because I don't wanna be late and I'm not quite finished.

Well I am at GMT -6 so it would end at 4:59:59pm or 3:59:59am (I dunno which on because there are two different dates for some reason) for me if I am not mistaken.
I think you are right with your calculation. If I did my math right, it would be Dec 2nd 8:59:59 as you have said =]
EDIT: but it is always nice to enter an hour earlier than that...just in case ;D
EDIT: I just realized that the end date posted in the first post is different than what it says on the gallery's info xD and no one has said anything about it xD
