It was wasn't it. It's a very close second to N.H.K for me.
The story and the way it was told was what I loved adout it, Once I watched the first episode I was hooked and it just kept getting better and better story wise. The character development was top notch aswell, It really was a wonderful series. It didn't feel rushed at all either for such a short series.

Code Geass is my all-time favorite. My other favorites would have to be Higurashi, Haruhi, and Hetalia. I'm really liking Shuffle! too, but I haven't finished it.
I am also a fan of Key's works.
