I thought it might be nice to compile some inspiring, humorous and otherwise great pieces together to share with each other here.

My friend linked this to me today, and I couldn't stop laughing. It has some adult innuendos in it, but in the end, it's very innocent.

Laundry Day

Share YOUR heroes! (Anyone else's work anywhere that inspires you!)

Ahahahaha, I almost couldn't finish watching it. XD Awesome, just plain...it made my day completely. I have quite a few, but it'll take some digging.

And here's some more:

Yuni@Deviantart -- If you choose to view any of their other work, be careful, as there is adult content there.

And Oliver Jeffers, who inspires me a hell of a lot and makes me want a pet penguin.

Thanks for sharing Chi. Those two artists morphed together remind me of your art style, so I can totally see how you really see them as heroes.

Kirimi:
They are pretty awesome. :3 Kia bought that one when she was here, I think, just because she wanted to talk to the guy in the shop who looks like Noel Fielding to ask him to talk in his cute welsh accent. Then he gave her like 50p off the poster.
But anywho.. his online merch shop is amazing! It's so expensive, but I'd buy half of that stuff.

my art heroes though would be

Joshua Hoffine- his work may be disturbing to others, he does photograpy art
http://www.joshuahoffine.com

I love surrealism. S. Dali is one of my favorites. This one is a more up to date artist. His name is Mark Ryden
http://www.markryden.com/

I also like Michael Hussar- his work can be creepy

3, 9, 14. Those are the Joshua Hoffine's pictures that got to me. Number 3 seriously freaked me out. XD

And Hussar's...daddy's girl was my favorite...incredibly creepy artists. Great ones too.

EDIT: http://hasigari.com/; really is a hero in my eyes. Gave me a tip on this one thing, took the time to actually talk to me, listened to my "maybe you could draw..." requests.
http://www10.plala.or.jp/yurakuru/; 'Member the picture of the mother carrying the baby while working the rice pond? They did that and many more.

Holy poo. I don't even know how you would begin to create like that. It's just amazing.

You can't really see it in the image below, but what I like best is that there's so much detail. You can look at a hundred times and still find something new each time.
