Q. What is giving credit?
A. Giving credit is when you give recognition to the artist of the picture. You must supply their name and their URL if they have one. If you aren’t able to do this, then you must use the “Where is this from?” quicklink credit.

Note: Credit does not always go to the website where you found the picture. It goes to the artist’s name and their website. If you find the picture on boyis.com for example, boyis.com is not a proper credit because they did not create the picture. They simply uploaded it onto their site.

Q. What is the blacklist and why do we have one?
A. The blacklist is a list of artists who don’t want their art distributed on other websites.

Other
Use the Other credit when you can supply the artist’s name (and their URL if they have one), but the name isn’t available in the quicklinks.

Note: If you use the Other credit, you must supply the artist’s name and their URL if they have one. Credits such as “I don’t know” or “I got it from a friend” are not acceptable.

Where is this from?
This is your credit that you can fall back on if you don’t know where your picture is from. Choose this credit when you aren’t able to supply the artist’s name.
