Archer: warrior
An Archer is a warrior whose skills are predominantly with a
bow and
arrow combination.
Such a character will frequently have a
quiver where arrows are stored, and often a leather
gauntlet to protect their hands. It is not uncommon to see
samurai or
miko whose predominant skill is archery.

Not actually a name, but a classification of soldier type, Archer is a character in the
Fate/Stay Night series as well as the prequel
Fate Zero and the sequel
Fate Hollow Ataraxia.
The Archer from Fate/Stay Night is actually an alternative version of
Shirou Emiya who became and epic hero through of wish from the
Holy Grail.
The Archer class servant from the previous war was
Gilgamesh.
The current Archer sacrifices himself to save Shirou Emiya,
Rin Tohsaka, and
Saber from
Berserker.
