A bow is a weapon used by Archers, using tension as a means of launching a arrow at an opponent over considerable distances.
There are many types of bows, of varying length and complexity. A bow using a system of pulleys is referred to as a compound bow.


To bow or bowing is when a person will lean forward from the waist as a sign of respect and decorum.
Traditionally, Men would bow, while women would curtsy, as much for practical reasons of preserving modesty as for decorum.
However, it is not uncommon to see women bowing as well in modern medium.
